Some people have a unique opportunity to finance the holidays this year.  In the months of September and December, there is a possibility you get an “extra” check. If you are a current or prior customer, I encourage you to extend your budget calendar out an extra month to see if this applies to you.  If you are not a customer, calendar your budget to the end of the year.  This will show you when you get paid and whether or not this is an opportunity for you.

The holidays are approaching. While we always want to “pay less money and spend more time”, sometimes the Holidays tend to exaggerate both alternatives. The easiest way to manage the financial pressure is to start early. If you do get an extra check you can use it to help establish a holiday budget. If you don’t get an extra check, you can use this warning to start setting a little aside each check to cover it.
