It’s Not Only Your Credit Score That Matters

The cornerstone to your credit repair is not your credit report- it’s your bank statement. The information on your credit report is a reflection of the activity you see in your checking and savings account.

Understand that if you deleted everything derogatory on your credit report, but don’t fix the behaviors that lead to remarks on your credit report- you still have bad credit.

GOOD CREDIT IS NOT DEFINED BY A CREDIT SCORE.

The score that everyone worries about is a product that is sold to you by a for-profit company named FICO.  It is no different than Wal-Mart.  As such, there are with it sales techniques one would find with any company trying to create a need in the marketplace.

Having good credit means you are managing your money properly.  It means you have an active, working budget.  It means that you have a savings mechanism that you employ regularly to protect yourself against the inevitable.  It means you have in place a long-term strategy to save for lifetime goals.  It means you have the proper insurances in place to protect yourself and your family.

The score is simply incidental.  If you fix the behaviors- the score fixes itself.

Make the Choice.  Make the Change.  Delta.
